apple mummification

All about mummification

One day we had to do mummification and we had to put an apple in a plastic cap. We had to put salt or baking soda. After a coupe of days we had to weigh the half apple. If it went lighter you could use the same mixer and cover the apple again. After a few weeks the apple will be mummified.

    Hello Bryce.
    I like how you explained what the process was to make a mummified apple.I have seen some children in room 8 with these mummification cups.I have also seen them weigh the apples.I just didn't know why they were doing it.
    Can you tell me what 'mummified' means?
